Replica of a 1930s Canadian penitentiary uniform. This ensemble was created for the student curated exhibition Captive Labour: Exploring Shoemaking within Canadian Penitentiaries (2022). A- Navy blue and white jacket split down the centre. Jacket is fastened with 5 metal buttons down the front. Patch sewn to chest pocket with "1930" B- Accompanying Patch sewn onto the back pocket with "1930" |
